Over twenty years of experience and three years spent specifically doing fixed wire testing, means that yours will be done with the minimum amount of disruption.
The cost of your test depends on how many circuits you have. As a rough guide, an average two bedroomed house would have eight circuits (£140 total cost). You can calculate the cost by using the table below or, if you're not sure how many circuits you have, we can estimate over the phone - call 07513 198458
1-4 circuits = £80 (total cost)
5 - 20 circuits = £20 per circuit
20+ circuits = Phone for quotation
The length of time taken to complete the test depending on the number of circuits to be tested, however with over three years spent purely on testing, your inspection will go as smoothly as possible.
As a rough guide for a domestic property, an average two bedroomed property would have eight circuits which would take approximately two hours.
After your inspection, you'll receive your Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) which will:
Reveal if any of your electrical circuits or equipment are overloaded.
Find any potential electric shock risks and fire hazards.
Identify any defective electrical work.
Highlight any lack of earthing or bonding.
